Made with middle school students who may lack prerequisite knowledge in mind, this uses big words, illustrations and conceptual approaches to develop confidence in students who feel intimidated around fractions. While this was made for middle school students, this book can easily be accessed by elementary students who are learning about fractions for the first time and is an excellent tool for teacher guided instruction. 
I have successfully started integrating my 4 year old daughter into fractions concepts with this book and know that any age can start to take advantage of developing a deeper understanding of fractions.  This is part 1. Future parts will be released soon!
