FRONT ROW SEARCH

Official Rules:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR BE SELECTED.

Mother May Aye is celebrating an incredible milestone: 25,000 followers on Instagram and 100,000 followers on TikTok.

To celebrate, Toni is searching for one New Orleans-area math educator and mother to join her FRONT ROW at PJ Morton’s Black Friday concert.

This is not a random drawing. This is a judged search for a member of the Aye Society whose story reflects the spirit of Mother May Aye: a woman learning to say “aye” to herself, too.

WHO CAN APPLY

Applicants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
• Live in the Greater New Orleans area.
• Currently work as a mathematics educator. This includes dedicated math teachers as well as elementary educators responsible for teaching mathematics as part of their regular classroom instruction.
• Be a mother or mother figure.
• Be available and able to attend PJ Morton’s Black Friday concert in New Orleans on the scheduled concert date.
• Be able to provide reasonable verification of eligibility if selected as a finalist.

No purchase, payment, donation, social media follow, like, share, or other financial contribution is required to apply or be selected.

THE PRIZE

One selected participant will receive:

• One front-row ticket to attend PJ Morton’s Black Friday concert in New Orleans with Toni of Mother May Aye.

Unless specifically announced otherwise, transportation, parking, lodging, meals, childcare, and other expenses associated with attending the concert are NOT included and are the responsibility of the selected participant.

The ticket may not be sold, transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must complete the official Aye Society Front Row Search application during the announced application period.

The application will request basic information to confirm eligibility and will ask applicants to respond to the following:

“Tell Mother about the woman behind the teacher and the mother. What is something you have been wanting to say AYE to for yourself?”

Responses should be no more than 150 words.

Applicants do NOT need to explain why they “deserve” the ticket.

Mother May Aye already believes that mothers deserve to experience joy, rest, adventure, music, friendship, and moments that belong to them.

We simply want to meet you.

NOMINATIONS

Members of the Aye Society may also nominate an eligible New Orleans-area math educator and mother.

Being nominated does not automatically enter someone into the search.

Mother May Aye may contact nominees and invite them to complete the official application and consent to participate.

Please do not submit sensitive or private information about another person without their permission.

HOW THE FINALIST WILL BE SELECTED

This is NOT a random drawing and the participant with the largest social media following, most likes, most comments, or most nominations will NOT automatically be selected.

Applications will be reviewed based on:

• Eligibility.
• Connection to the spirit and purpose of Mother May Aye and the Aye Society.
• Thoughtfulness and authenticity of the applicant’s response.
• The applicant’s interest in intentionally choosing herself and experiencing something that brings her joy.
• Overall fit for the shared front-row experience.

A small number of finalists may be invited to participate in a brief virtual conversation with Toni before the final selection.

This conversation is intended simply to allow Toni and the finalist to meet and determine whether the experience feels like a good fit.

THE FINAL SELECTION

One eligible participant will be selected by Toni/Mother May Aye based on the criteria above.

The selected participant will be contacted privately using the contact information provided in her application.

The selected participant must respond within the time period stated in the notification.

If she cannot attend, does not respond within the required period, cannot verify eligibility, or declines the ticket, Mother May Aye may select another eligible participant.

PRIVACY

Information submitted through the application will be used for purposes related to administering the Aye Society Front Row Search, including verifying eligibility, reviewing applications, contacting finalists, and selecting the participant.

Applicants should NOT post private information such as home addresses, telephone numbers, school identification documents, or other sensitive information publicly in social media comments.

SOCIAL MEDIA

This search is organized by Mother May Aye/Toni and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok, Meta, PJ Morton, the concert venue, the city of New Orleans or any other person or company unless specifically stated otherwise.

By participating, applicants acknowledge that Instagram and TikTok are not responsible for the administration of this search or fulfillment of the prize.

CONTENT & PARTICIPATION

The selected participant may be invited to appear in Mother May Aye social media content documenting the experience.

Any filming expectations and permission to use the selected participant’s image, voice, or story will be discussed with her before the event.

Being willing to participate in social media content is not permission for Mother May Aye to disclose private information without consent.

ONE FINAL THING

The purpose of this search is not to determine which mother works the hardest, sacrifices the most, or has the most compelling reason to deserve a night out.

We are not asking women to prove that they have suffered enough to earn joy.

That would rather defeat the purpose.

The Aye Society is about remembering that you are one of the people you are responsible for caring for.

So tell us about YOU.

Who is the woman behind the mother and the teacher?

And what is she ready to say AYE to?

Permission is not required.

Welcome to the Aye Society.
